I had the amazing opportunity to join Laura from Crème Catering, for Brunch on the Farm at her amazing place. I was extremely excited to enjoy fresh farm cooked food but was also excited to enjoy the chickens and learning about her wonderful garden.
Brunch on the Farm include family style chef’s tasting under a gorgeous tree. We kicked the event off with coffee (Because what else would I drink?) with milk from JD's country milk!
The brunch included:
- Roasted Vegetables with Lemon Garlic Tahini Sauce
- Fennel Sausage
- Shakshuka (eggs baked in a tomato sauce with smoked paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper)
- Cucumber Tomato Salad
- Garlic Toast Points
- Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake Muffins
It was so hard to pick a favorite because everything was incredibly delicious but I will definitely try to make the Shakshuka and Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake Muffins at home!!!
We were blessed to have all this amazing food from local Farmers
and the Cucumbers, eggs, zucchini, potatoes were from Laura's backyard!
I also LOVED visiting the chickens on Laura's farm! I've had the opportunity to taste the delicious eggs from their farm and I am obsessed but still don't want to eat the blue ones. They are so pretty!
