My wonderful therapist made a suggestion that I spend some time learning to meditate to help me with finding some grounding. I have absolutely LOVED learning more and finding my space in the meditation practice. Meditation has become a very important practice in my daily life. I’ve found ways to really make it my own.
When I first tried Meditation I looked up countless ways to meditate but I’ve found that there is no right or wrong way, meditation is exactly how you make it. I have now created a process that has become just as important as the meditation itself.
I create an atmosphere that is calming and welcoming for myself, the music starts, the incense or candle gets lit, and I pull from my affirmation cards.. After a great meditation practice and to truly release all of the negative energy I have been clearing out, I dance to some Bob Marley!
It’s been a great welcome into my space to help ground me, calm my anxiety and set my intentions.
