I took a trip to Charlotte, NC to go coffee shop hunting! I took my mother and sister and it ended up being more shopping then coffee but the trip was a success in it's own right!
Both coffee shops were so different but amazing in their own way! Amelia's came with quite the line and nowhere to sit, so we found ourselves outside enjoying the coffee but it was much worth it. Amelie's is a French Bakery and Cafe. At Amelie's I ordered the Cafe Marcotter, which is a Vanilla bean, milk, espresso, caramel sauce and sea salt and a some French Macarons in various flavors.
After Amelie's we headed to Coco and the Director! A lot less crowded but with an incredible seating area and the nicest barista's.
At Coco and the Director I tried their traditional Latte which was ever bit of perfect.
I am looking forward to heading back to North Carolina, trying out more coffee shops and actually getting to do a more detail posts about them without family hushing lol!
Have you had great coffee in a city you love? Please share so I can visit!
Don't worry I definitely brought bags of coffee home!
